Join Our Sea Turtle Rescue Program at Gran Pacifica Resort 🌌🐢

For over a decade, Gran Pacifica Resort, ECO VILLAGES, and 360 Properties Nicaragua have partnered to protect and rescue endangered sea turtles along Nicaragua’s beautiful coast. From September to December, you can join us on a nighttime adventure under starlit skies as we search for nesting mother sea turtles. Guided by high tides, these mothers come ashore to lay their eggs on sandy beaches, but with local pressures on egg poaching, these nests need protection.

Our program steps in to safely transfer turtle eggs to secure, specially built nests, where they incubate safely for 45 to 60 days, depending on the species.

From November to February, families are invited to witness the heartwarming release of baby turtles making their journey to the sea—a truly magical experience shared by hundreds of families every year.
